Well, I have Start 10 installed so I guess that may be why I don't have a "start" to click, then I could not find "All Programs" so I went searching for the "accesories folder" and had no luck with that either.
I searched the entire C Drive and found no folder named accesories so I guess I'm dead in the water if I can't get past the first step. Does anyone have any good ideas how to do a "clean" uninstall of Office Professional I'd really be appreciative.

Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thank you. I did see the Fix It and actually ran it but I think I messed up. It was running for quite some time and in the black DOS box that appears, it said "a restart is needed to I did have to reinstall Office again but the outlook problems are the same.
I have 2 email accounts, one in Live and One in Outlook that when you click the tab, in setup, for the Data Files it says "not available". I tried the manual uninstallation in the link I provided but it is far too complicated for me. It even switches views when I shut down and restart. I like the monthly view and it switches back to daily nearly every time.
I guess I'll try the Fixit again and just let it run until it says it is done. Outlook will not even let me set up my wife's Outlook. There's something really wrong with my Outlook, i think, and I don't want to spend the money for and still have Outlook problems. If there is a way to just do a clean uninstall of office or outlook, and the problems go away, then I'll buy the Why in the world would outlook not know or tell me "not available" where the data files are.
I did briefly work with a Microsoft Tech who did set up a new profile, and I do have 2 of 3 email accounts back. Maybe today, it would be my best bet to contact the Answer Desk. I have a yearly Assure Subscruption and they're supposed to help with all things Microsoft. I really don't think changing the profile helped at all.

But now it will not set up my wife's outlook account in this manner I get error messages. This is why I'm trying to completely wipe out outlook or office compoletely. In reply to jerryyea's post on December 21, Are you using Outlook Connector to access the Outlook. Com account? It might be preferable to uninstall Connector, and connect to your e-mails with POP access. You will lose some integration, but the e-mail function should be OK. At least try re-installing Connector. This site in other languages x.
